New York, NY (77WABC)-Shake Shack, Inc. beloved by many New Yorkers is jumping on the Covid-19 vaccine incentive bandwagon. CEO Randy Garutti says when you get your Covid-19 vaccine at one of the mobile vaccination buses around the city over the next couple of days, you will receive a voucher for a free burger at Shake Shack. For the next month if you show a Covid-19 vaccination card you will receive free fries at any one of Shake Shack’s 25 locations.
Garutti made the announcement during Mayor DeBlasio’s morning briefing from the original Shake Shack location at Madison Square Park:
Mayor DeBlasio announced NYC will offer free tickets to this year’s Global City Live event at Central Park and The Governor’s Ball at Citi Field( Sept. 24th to the 26th) for those who show proof of being vaccinated for Covid-19.
The Mayor announced today both events will resume this year, after being postponed last year due to the viral pandemic.
