Suffolk, NY (77WABC)-Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and the Suffolk County Police Major Case Unit detectives have announced a cash reward is being offered for information leading to a man who attempted to rob the Bank of American at 190 Motor Parkway on March 9th.
Police say it was around 3:05 in the afternoon when the suspect walked into the bank branch and handed a teller a note demanding money. The hooded masked suspect fled the bank on foot without any proceeds. It is unclear if the teller refused to hand over cash or if the suspect changed his mind.
The man police are looking for is described as white, in his early 20s, between 6 feet 1 inch and 6 feet 2 inches tall. The suspect has a medium build, blonde hair, blue eyes, and a light complexion. At the time of the attempted robbery, he was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants, black sneakers, and a white and black
bandana covering his face. He was also carrying a backpack.
