Bronx, NY (77WABC)-A verbal dispute led to the slashing of a 41-year-old male NYC Parks Department Employee Sunday afternoon in front of 2587 Jerome Avenue in the Bronx. The man was slashed across his face and chest allegedly by the suspect seen in the video and photo attached. Police are hoping the public can help identify the attacker.
Following the slashing, the unidentified man fled northbound, on foot, on Jerome Avenue.
The Parks Dept. employee was taken by EMS to St. Barnabas Hospital, in stable condition, where he was treated for his injuries.
