Mastic Beach, NY (77WABC)-A cleaning crew made a gruesome discovery Sunday afternoon off of WasingtonDrive near Forest Road East, in Mastic Beach finding a human 
skeleton. The remains were discovered around 1:35 pm in a marsh area.
Suffolk County Police Officers from the Seventh Precinct responded to a 911 call saying a body had been found by a cleaning crew.
Police say the remains were taken to the Office of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner for an autopsy.
The Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death and identify the remains.
