A Man Stabbed In His Head At 7-Eleven In Greenlawn

Greenlawn, NY (77WABC)-Suffolk County Police say a man sitting in his vehicle in the parking lot of 7-Eleven at 27 Broadway was approached by three suspects around 9 pm Sunday. One of the men, Raheem Miller, allegedly stabbed the victim in his head. Miller and two other men fled the scene before police arrived.

Officers from the 2nd Precinct arrested Miller a short time later at his home on Little Plains Road in Greenlawn. Miller is charged with second-degree Assault. He was held overnight at the Second Precinct and is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip today.

The stabbing victim, a 44-year-old Huntington Station man, was transported to South Shore University Hospital in Bay Shore for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

An investigation is continuing. Police say anyone with information is asked to call the Second Squad at 631-854-8252 or anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
