Elmhurst, NY (77WABC)-A man was pronounced dead at Elmhurst Hospital this morning after being found with a stab wound to his upper chest on the southbound platform for the ‘M/R’ subway line at the Grand Ave. station in Queens.
Police received a 911 call at 5:42 am of an aided male. Officers from the 110th Precinct responded discovering the unconscious and unresponsive man on the southbound platform. He was transported to NYC Health & Hospitals/Elmhurst, where he was pronounced dead.
Police have not yet released the identity of the victim.
There are no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.
