London, England (77WABC)-The husband of Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Phillip The Duke Of Edinburgh, has passed away at the age of 99.
His death was announced this morning by The Royal Family:
It is with deep sorrow that Her Majesty The Queen has announced the death of her beloved husband, His Royal Highness The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.

Prince Phillip and the Queen were married on Nov. 20th, 1947. They have four children.

The Prince had recently been hospitalized for an infection. The Palace says he died at Windsor Castle.
