New York, NY (WABC-77)-  A pre-taped, host-less, but surprisingly entertaining Screen Actors Guild Awards premiered last night on TNT. Most shocking part of the evening? Helen Mirren admits to watching ‘PEN15’ on Hulu! Overall, the presentation of the SAG Awards was very well done, and most certainly could make one excited for the upcoming Oscars. For the first time ever, actors of color swept all four individual film categories (Viola Davis, Chadwick Boseman, Daniel Kaluuya, and Yuh-Jung Youn).

For Television, ‘Schitt’s Creek’ and ‘The Crown’ continued their winning streak for best comedy and best drama. For film, ‘The Trial of the Chicago 7’ won best picture.

“Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom” co-stars Boseman and Viola Davis won best lead actor categories.

Shockingly, Alex Trebek was not mentioned when honoring the actors and public figures who  passed away this year.
