(New York, NY/77WABC)-Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect who has recently targeted three Chase Bank branches, two in the same day, in New York City, within the confines of the 24th, 30th and 20th Precincts.
Police say the first incident occurred on Tuesday, March 30, 2021, at approximately 1 pm in the afternoon. The suspect entered a Chase Bank, located at 2824 Broadway, where he approached a bank teller and passed a note demanding money. The teller complied and the individual fled the location with cash provided.
The same suspect is wanted in connection with two attempted bank robberies at Chase Bank locations during the afternoon of Thursday, April 1st. At approximately 1:45 pm, the suspect entered the Chas branch at 3515 Broadway, where he approached a bank teller and passed a note demanding money. The teller did not comply and the individual fled the location. Less than an hour later the same individual, at 2:25 in the afternoon, entered a Chase Bank, located at 2099 Broadway. He approached a bank teller and verbally demanded money. The teller did not comply and the individual fled the location.
