(ROCKAWAY BEACH, NY/77WABC) – An unprovoked attack around 8 Tuesday morning aboard a Manhattan-bound “A” train remains under investigation. The NYPD says a 54-year-old man was suddenly stabbed with an unknown sharp object as the train approached the Broad Channel Subway Station.

.The stabbing victim suffered puncture wounds to his arm and torso. He was removed to St. John’s Hospital by EMS in stable condition.
