(Queens, NY/77WABC)-The NYPD’s Special Victims Unit is hoping the public can help identify a rape suspect from the police sketch that is attached. Police say the attempted rape occurred at 12:40 am on
Police say the victim began walking and, in front of 150-42 19 Avenue, the unidentified male approached from behind, knocked her to the ground, grabbed her breasts over her clothing, and attempted to rape her.
The unidentified male fled on foot. The victim fled for safety to her home and then called 911. The victim refused medical attention.
The suspect is Hispanic, then 25-30 years old, 5’07 to 5’09, 160lbs. He was wearing a dark t-shirt and long red shorts.
