(Brooklyn, NY/77WABC)-Two uniformed workers for NYC’s Department of Sanitation, working their route during the early morning hours Wednesday were approached by three unidentified male suspects. A 42-year-old Sanitation worker was struck with a baseball bat and a golf club. He had his Samsung Galaxy Cellphone stolen. The second worker, 43-years old, who came to his aide, was menaced by the suspects but unhurt.
Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspects.
The NYPD says the attack happened at approximately 1:40 am Wednesday in the vicinity of Milford Street and Pitkin Avenue within the confines of the 75th Precinct.
Suspects fled in a red Chrysler 300 driven by a fourth unidentified male suspect.
