Several individuals were injured Friday following a car accident between East 49 Street and East 50th Street on 2nd Avenue.
Police state that a van struck a black Camry around 8:30AM while heading down 2nd Avenue.
The Camry hit an outdoor dining structure at Crave Fishbar.
The van continued down 2nd Avenue where it hit a fruit stand and several pedestrians near 49th Street.
Police state that eight people were injured but the injuries are not believed to be serious.
