NYPD-Officer-Killed-In-The-Bronx
(Elmhurst, NY/77WABC)- Police responding to a 9-1-1 call found a man dead late Monday afternoon in the area of 38th Ave. and Seaver Way Elmhurst, Queens.
Officers say the man was partially submerged in water and that there were no obvious signs of trauma.
EMS responded to the location and pronounced the aided male deceased at the scene.
The victim is identified as 40-year-old Jywan Stovall of 42 White Plains Ave. in Elmhurst, NY.
The medical examiner will determine the cause of death.
An investigation is ongoing.
