(Queens, NY/77WABC)-A 25-year-old passenger was shot and killed in Queens early this morning following a verbal dispute with a suspect who opened fire from a Black Sedan with NJ plates.
The killing happened at 12:46 am at the intersection of Woodhaven Boulevard and Myrtle Avenue, within the confines of the 102nd Precinct. The driver of the sedan fled the scene and remains at large.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 25-year-old male inside a silver vehicle, with a gunshot wound to the chest. EMS responded to the location and transported the victim to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where he was pronounced deceased. There are no arrests and the investigation remains ongoing.
The identity of the deceased is pending proper family notification.
