(Brooklyn, NY/77WABC)-A 31-year-old man is in stable condition at Woodhull Hospital after being shot in his stomach during a dispute Monday night in the Bed-Stuyvesant section of Brooklyn, NY.
According to the NYPD, the incident happened around 6:30 p.m. Monday at Malcolm X Boulevard and Lafayette Avenue in the Bedford Stuyvesant section of the borough. The attacker fled the scene. and remains at large.
The victim, despite being shot in his stomach, is believed to have gotten on the “J” train making it to the Flushing Ave. subway stop where he collapsed.
The incident remains under investigation.
