(Queens, NY/77WABC)-Operators face numerous charges and party-goers face several misdemeanors after the NYC Sheriff’s Department shut down an illegal gathering early Sunday. Sheriff’s deputies raided the location at 2:25 am Sunday, Feb. 21st, 2021. Deputies say 300 people were found inside the Junction Blvd. location near 35th St. in Jackson Heights against Covid-19 regulations.

The department says five persons were charged with various misdemeanotrs.
Operators were cited for violating emergency orders and the health code as well as for having no liquor license.
