(Albany, NY/77WABC)-NY Gov. Andrew Cuomo said today indoor and outdoor entertainment centers can reopen on different dates and with different capacity levels. The Governor also said overnight summer camps can plan to reopen.
The Governor says indoor family entertainment centers can reopen on March 26th at 25% capacity.
The Governor announced outdoor entertainment facilities can reopen at 33% capacity on April 9th. “He said the State Department of Health will list the guidelines which include face masks, social distancing temperature checks, and frequent cleaning and disinfection will be part of the guidelines for both.
Tickets will be sold in advance with staggered entry and exit.
Social distancing guidelines and disinfection protocols must be followed.
“Riders attractions that cannot be socially distanced or cleaned will remain closed,” the Governor said.
Governor Cuomo said summer overnight camp can “plan to reopen” in June. The Goveror says NY state will continue to monitor Covid-19 and variants. Cuomo added testing protocols will have to be in place, ” no parent is going to send their child to a summer camp unless there’s a testing protocol anyway.”
