BRONX, NEW YORK (77WABC)-A suspect is at large after attacking a Brink’s employee and stealing $200,000 in cash from him near E. 167th Street and Gerard Avenue in the Concourse section of the Bronx around 2 p.m. on Wednesday.
The NYPD says the Brink’s Employee was in the process of unloading the cash when a male suspect approached. Police say the masked suspect pushed the Brink’s employee, grabbed the bag, and fled.
The NYPD released surveillance video Thursday showing the suspect running down a street with a giant white bag of cash in both arms.
Police say the male suspect is approximately 5’8″, approximately 160lbs, wearing a navy blue hoodie, gray sweatpants, and a black mask.
