NEW YORK (77 WABC) – Let’s confirm the rumors! Anne Hathaway is as talent as she is sweet.
The 38-year old actress joined The Joan Hamburg Show on Sunday to discuss her new film “Locked Down” now streaming on HBO Max. Hathaway said yes to the film without receiving the entire script. She laughs, “I didn’t know there was another 90 pages coming and I was signing up to shoot 180 pages in 18 days.”
Hamburg asked how she remembered all her lines in that short period of time. “Well I knew most of them,” said the Academy Award winning actress, “but occasional if I needed some help, we would write them out and Chiwetel (Hathaway’s co-star) would wear them around his chest.”
“He has a nice chest,” laughs Hamburg.
“We wanted to make a movie that was of this moment,” said “Locked Down” director Doug Liman. Viewers can all relate to this film since everyone around the globe is experiencing the pandemic. Liman says that’s what makes this movie so special.
“I am the luckiest person in the world to have collaborated with Anne Hathaway,” said Liman.
