BRONX, NY (77WABC)- Three US Marshals were injured in a shootout in the Wakefield section of the Bronx near Edenwald Avenue and Ely Avenue.
The U.S. Marshals are stable after being shot in the arms and legs during the gun battle with the suspect.
Sources say the suspect is dead. The suspect Andre Sterling was wanted for the shooting of a Massachusetts State Trooper on November 20th.
Avoid this area if possible.
The US Marshals are being treated at Jacobi Hospital and expected to survive.
