NEW YORK (77 WABC) — For the second time this week, New York announced a record amount of COVID-19 tests were conducted. Governor Cuomo said the state reported 87,900 tests yesterday with only .84% positive.
New York City saw a slight uptick in the positivity rate to 1%.
There were 10 COVID-19 deaths. Hospitalizations dropped, while intubations hit a pandemic-low.
“New York State continues to stay vigilant in the face of an ongoing crisis across the country as we pursue a phased reopening,” Cuomo said.
