NEW YORK (77 WABC) — New York continues to see decreasing numbers in the battle with the coronavirus.
Governor Cuomo said there were .97% positive results that were received yesterday from the 72,000 tests done.
The state cited 26 establishments for being non-compliant, all in the five boroughs or on Long Island.
Cuomo said three people died yesterday, including one person from Manhattan and one person from Westchester.
“We are fighting against the national surge of cases with our quarantine efforts, but we need local governments to be more active in enforcing compliance.”
Today's update on the numbers:
Of the 72,370 tests reported yesterday, 703 were positive (0.97% of total).
There were 570 total hospitalizations.
