NEW YORK (77 WABC) — Investors had big losses Wednesday amid fears for a coronavirus resurgence.
The Dow toppled 710 points, or 2.7%, to 25, 445.
The Nasdaq and S&P also dropped by more than 2% in the trading session.
For all three indices, it was the worst day since June 11.
Wall Street will be paying close attention to the jobs report Thursday morning. Weekly jobless claims have stayed above 1 million for 13 straight weeks as Americans are still dealing with economic aspects of the pandemic.
