NEW YORK (77 WABC) — Today begins Phase 2 of the restart in Connecticut. Unlike in New York, the second portion of the reopening includes movie theaters and indoor dining.
Seats must be arranged for at least 6 feet of empty space between customers.
All other indoor recreation, including bowling alleys, are also part of Phase 2.
Restaurants can resume indoor serving, but self-service station buffets are not allowed, and capacity can’t be more than 50 percent.
Also on the list to reopen, hotels, zoos, aquariums, and nail and tattoo salons.
Outdoor venues like amphitheaters and racetracks can open at 25% of fire capacity with distancing measures.
Governor Ned Lamont is also allowing outdoor gatherings up to 100 people and indoor capped at 25 people.
