NFL: New York Jets at Buffalo Bills
NEW YORK (77 WABC) — Sam Darnold and some of his New York Jets teammates are headed to Miami for in-person workouts this weekend, ESPN’s Rich Cimini reported.
The informal workouts will take place at Bommarito Performance System in Aventura, Florida and begin on Thursday. Darnold along with running backs Le’Veon Bell and Frank Gore, wide receivers Breshad Perriman, Jamison Crowder and Denzel Mims and tight end Chris Herndon will be in attendance, according to the report.
The Aventura facility is a 20-acre complex that has an NFL sized field, recovery areas and dining facilities.
The workouts will be the first time Darnold will get the chance to work with some of the team’s new additions like Perriman, Mims and Gore. The Jets have been going through a virtual offseason since the NFL has barred teams from opening up their practice facilities.
