NEW YORK (77 WABC) — Las Vegas Sands’ Venetian is taking reservations as they anticipate a June 1 reboot of the famous hotel and casino.
The Venetian tower will open first with a Palazzo tower to follow thereafter.
“We continue to adhere to guidance provided by federal, state and local authorities including the Southern Nevada Health District, Centers For Disease Control and Prevention and the Nevada Gaming Control Board,” the property said in the release.
During the two weeks before reopening, the Venetian is testing all employees, Fox5LasVegas reported.
Furthermore, the property has launched Venetian Clean, where they’ll use “800 separate initiatives to enhance safety and minimize risk for our visitors and Team Members,” a statement said.
Guests can expect much of the amenities to look like what was there before the coronavirus closure in March. They will have access to the casino, more than a dozen restaurants, plus a pool deck and retail shops.
The Venetian is also giving back to the community with the “Share the Love” program. For every room booked, the hotel will donate a free night to a first responder or community hero. They are pledging 50,000 free nights.
Sands rival Wynn Resorts is planning a June restart at least one of its resorts– Wynn Las Vegas and the Encore, casino.org said.
