NEW YORK (77 WABC) — Disney is docking all cruise ships through July 27. The company said they made the decision in line with CDC guidelines.
Guests currently booked for vacations on the affected dates have the options. They choice of cruise credit for future sailing within 15 months of the original date, or they take a full refund.
Those guests and travel agents will get an email from Disney Cruise Line with details and the next steps.
The CDC issued a no-sail order in March and extended it into April.
No word from the Disney if they will be able to operate cruises starting July 27.
Ten departures of the Disney Magic, 12 Disney Wonder cruises, more than 20 Disney Dream departures and 12 Disney Fantasy trips were impacted.
Earlier this month, Carnival announced phase-in cruises beginning August 1 eight ships leaving from Port Canaveral, Miami and Galveston, WESH reported.
