Police are investigating after two adults and two children were found dead in their home in a New York City suburb. Police in Pleasantville discovered the bodies just before 2 p.m. Thursday. Officers checked on the family after the children failed to attend school. Pleasantville police Chief Erik Grutzner says a cause of death had not been determined. He withheld the names of the four people pending notification of other relatives. Pleasantville Mayor Peter Scherer said the village is “reeling under the weight of a tragedy.”
