Bernie & Sid were joined by former NYPD Detective Bo Dietl for his weekly segment on Tuesday. Bo discuessed the Netflix Original Series “When They See Us”, which depicts the 1989 Central Park jogger case and conviction of five youths known as the Central Park 5. In a very intense on-air conversation with 77 WABCs Bernie & Sid, Dietl challenged Cyrus Vance, Jr. (current Manhattan District Attorney) to look back at the 1989 case to see if there is any Touch DNA evidence gathered at that time.
