The legendary 95.5 WPLJ aired their final broadcast on Friday evening. After two days of a long farewell, with special appearances from the likes of Scott Shannon, Jim Kerr, Carol Miller, and so many more, WPLJ officially went off the air at 7PM on May 31.
Race Taylor, Joey Krammer, Mike Allan, Melony Torres and others were in studio to say their last goodbyes, while listeners were given a chance to hear from a long list of individuals who have helped WPLJ behind the scenes over the years.
WPLJ was a music home for listeners since 1971. They wrapped up 48 years of history with a memorable final hour before Race Taylor officially signed off.
